Redesigned Guitar |
آرزو برای تار نو |
A metaphor and a wish.
Have you ever tried to play guitar and found it too difficult?
گیتار زدن سخت است.
The guitar is too big! The strings are too far apart! Trying to hold them down requires unspeakable hand deformities. Anyway, playing it is probably a sin somewhere. And how is this a metaphor for planning? Because it's all about mastering the tools, or finding ones that are easier to use. Or both.
I'd like a guitar redesign that makes the instrument user friendly so that even a cudgel-fingered amateur like me can wrap my rigid fingers around it and make those lovely guitar sounds while strumming something. Something that works with bio-feedback. Something that doesn't require you to bleed while developing the callouses on your fingers just to hold down those pesky strings. Light based, like optic keyboards. Or motion sensitive like a theremin, with adjustability. As long as you get close to the notes, this thing detects your fingers in space, and conforms to their comfort level. If it's the sound you want, you give some feedback and it learns your finger positioning.
Each instrument will be uniquely calibrated to each player (although I suppose you could log into the guitar and have separate settings for each person.)
This probably exists somewhere. I think I saw a prototype in a movie once. "The first 20 million is the hardest" or something.
And here's a link to learning the chords and what they sound like.
