ٍٍٍٍThe California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research has developed a set of comprehensive guidelines to assist local governments in the preparation and content of general plans. By law, each city and county in California "must prepare a comprehensive, long term general plan to guide its future." These guidelines are designed around California law. Nevertheless, they are a great resource that can be adapted to other regions. It is the goal of this site to translate and modify the guidelines for use in Iran.
