[edited Sept. 12, 2008] Note that the post below is now irrelevant.  Place all Persian text within the

[style=farsi][/style]

tags.  This initial exploration was based on the problem I have with Persian text being smaller than English.  In other words, if you are in any font, and you choose any size, say “12”, the Persian text will be a lot smaller and harder to read than the English.

When you’re in edit mode (e.g., when you click “post reply” or “new topic” and the window appears for you to write), you will notice a handy “font formatting” box above the text pane?  It has the drop down box with “size” there, and one for “color”.

This is “small”
This is normal (unformatted) text.
This is “medium”
this is “large”
This is “very large”
and this is “largest”.

Now, if I put “code” brackets around that, you can see what the code is that I’m using:

This is "small"
This is normal
(unformattedtext.
This is "medium"
[size
=4]this is "large"
[size
=5]This is "very large"
[size
=6]and this is "largest".

But what happens if you try modified html code?

[big]Like, this is big, with “big” tags.[/big]

Nothing.

Anyway, you may find, like I do, that English is more legible than Persian.  The way they design the fonts, English always looks bigger to me.  So, you might want to make it a habit to wrap your Persian text in a larger font (like size=5)  Hey, let’s see what it looks like:

این کوچک است.
این بدون فرمتینگ است
این متوسط
این برزگ
این خیلی بزرگ
این بزرگترین است

 این کوچک است
این بدون فرمتینگ است
[size
=3] این متوسط
[size
=4] این برزگ
[size
=5] این خیلی بزرگ
[size
=6] این بزرگترین است

Note, this code does not work in the title box, as you see.
