The Persian language doesn’t have articles, so making the transition to English poses problems.

Old/New information dichotomy:
“a” and “an” refer to a topic that is just now being introduced (new information), while “the” refers to something we already know about or were told about (old information). E.g.,: There once was a bear. The bear was nice.

Noun type

Reflecting its historical derivation from the number word one, the English indefinite article can only be used with singular count nouns.

For mass nouns, or for plurals, adjectives or adjective phrases like some or a few substitute for it.

In English, pronouns, nouns already having another non-number determiner, and proper nouns usually do not use articles.

Otherwise in English, unlike many other languages, singular count nouns take an article; either a, an, or the.[4]

Also in English word order, articles precede any adjectives which modify the applicable noun

In English most cities and countries never take the definite article, but there are many that do. Today the goal of urbanism is making a habitable and development.
Other wise in today community observes that planners can not carry out their goal in their surrourding.
Unless , policy and tools being in the way of their goal and they have unutilized ; but today we face with constructive citise that they`ve rely on roads and paths ... .

Depending on the physical conditions of cities, their features are based on five main factors:
1- Path: Path is a factor which enables transportation in cities. Paths are consist of avenues, sidewalks, subways or railways.
2- Edge: Edge is a margin between two parts of the city, a gap along or across two continual parts of the city or even a junction on the railways.
3- District: District is a part of the city which is average to huge in size. Districts are identifiable by their distinct characteristics.
4- Node: Nodes are important parts of the city in which the observer can enter or be placed such as a junction of two roads.
5- Landmark: Landmarks are some parts of the city of which the observer can identify different parts of the city. For landmarks the observer cannot enter those parts such as buildings, signs and stores.

The subject that i literally want to talk,is Urbanism.U know, Urbanism is the newest field that talks a bout cities,buildings,desinging,how to see the cities obviously,how to predict the future clearly,think a bout nature ,people & mainly relatesd to making people-friendly towns !! Urbanism is the artistic major but mostly looks like a architect.

After the second world war finished,most cities had been distroyed and poeple had started to reconstruct their buildings.Although they’ve rebuilt their cities,they had many problems with them.since then,civic design have apeared and till now it’s one of the most demanded fields in the world.

My dream urban having this opthions:
It is safe.There is not disease in it , othere wise it will protect people from diseas.O-f
course it is not completly safe and the same,in order to humans experience danger in it.
My city is not completly silent,of course it is not busy and full of sounds.
there is sound which are desirable and agreeable and it is patianable,in or order to humans being sobered a bout their environment.

I`m the student in urbanism field in shiraz UN ,entering in 86. this field is the newest field & we face with desinging & theorize work.
To be sucsessfully in this field we should see obviously around the space & have an creative mind.
For desinging the city we have to pay attation to people & their ideas & then desing the city.
Importance: Urbanism withe people instead of urbanism for people.
But unfortounatly,the most of the planner didn`t study the urbanism basically & they are from variety field such as ,Economic,Geogeraphy,... .

“Have a pity on human being so who in the sky havae a mercy on you.!!”
